The app requires registration, after which senior citizens can use it to raise an SOS alert in case of an emergency. The app immediately transmits the location information to the Delhi Police control room helplineThe police can then send the beat staff to assist the senior citizen.
The app has several features, such as the ability to register with Delhi Police, know your beat officer, raise an SOS alert to the control room, send an SMS alert to pre-assigned contacts, and send an SMS alert to SHO & Beat Officer. Additionally, police officers can use the application to enroll senior citizens, assign beat officers, update visits, monitor the history of visits by beat staff, and receive SMS alerts.
